Terms and Conditions

DailyGames · Effective September 25, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and the developer of DailyGames (“we”, “us”). They are not an agreement with Apple. Apple is not responsible for DailyGames or for these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The service

DailyGames lets you keep a record of daily puzzles and share those results with groups. The puzzles themselves are run by other companies on their own websites. DailyGames is not made by, or affiliated with, The New York Times, MapTap, GeoGuessr, Chess.com, or any other game publisher. Their sites have their own terms, and you are responsible for following them when you play.

The app is provided free of charge. We may change, pause, or stop features at any time.

Your account

You need an account to use DailyGames. You must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for activity on your account. Give us accurate profile information, and do not impersonate someone else.

You can request deletion of your account in the app. What happens to your information is described in the Privacy Policy.

What you post

You keep ownership of the display name, photo, bio, messages, comments, and other content you submit. You give us permission to store that content and to show it to the people your settings allow, so the service can work. That permission ends when the content is deleted, except for copies that already reached other members or that we must keep for a short time for safety or legal reasons.

Do not post anything you do not have the right to share. Do not post content that is illegal, threatening, hateful, or sexually exploitative, and do not harass other people. We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Groups and scores

Scores you share with a group are visible to the members of that group. Chat and comments in a group are visible to its members. You are responsible for who you invite and for the invite codes you share. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, access another person’s account, or submit results in a way meant to deceive other members.

License to use the app

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the DailyGames iOS app on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the Apple Media Services terms. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or resell the app, except where the law does not allow that limit.

Support and claims

We are responsible for providing maintenance and support for DailyGames. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If the app fails to meet a warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. Any other claim, including product-liability claims, legal claims that the app does not conform to a legal requirement, and claims that the app infringes someone else’s intellectual property, are our responsibility, not Apple’s.

Disclaimers

DailyGames is provided “as is.” We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, that a score will be recorded correctly, or that a third-party game page will keep working. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of DailyGames. Our total liability for a claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars if you paid nothing. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. You still have any rights that cannot be waived.

Apple

You will comply with any third-party terms that apply when you use the app, including your wireless-data agreement. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on a U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and they may enforce them against you.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where the developer resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the date above. If you keep using DailyGames after that date, you accept the updated terms.
